Take A Senior To Lunch
We had a great Sunday lunch with Mr. and Mrs. Poole and Ms. Nona Mae. As many of you know we had revival a few weeks ago and one of the nights was senior night. So, if you were a senior and came to revival that night your name went into a hat and a family sponsored you for lunch the following Sunday. The restaruant of choice for us was the Picadilly. After all, the place has blue jello! I hope all the seniors know what a blessing it is for others to see them to put the Lord Jesus Christ first in their lives. I'm not sure, but I think we might have started a yearly tradition! I had a wonderful time Arthur, Joyce, and Nona Mae we'll have to do it again real soon.
Love ya,
Ashley

Too Much to Say and Too Little Time to Say it In
As I said before it has been a while since our last post so naturally I have lots of catching up to do with everyone. First of all for those of you who do not know, it is true that I do wear hats to church on Sunday. I guess it's a Jamaica thing that I just can't kick. Well, one Sunday not to long ago Faith had lots of questions about why I'm the only one that wears hats to church. So, I was glad to let her wear my hat in church too! It fits her to a tee. Look out Travis and Alyssa I think we have a future fashion queen in the family! Next, We had Revival this past week at church. Rev. Johnny McDaniel preached the services. All I can say is WOW! The Holy Spirit really moved and touched many lives. We had good attendance all week and there were special themes each night. Sunday Eric came up to lead the music and he brought Steven with him. He has grown so much since back over the summer when I saw him last. Sunday was children's night and we had funnel cakes and games for them. It looks like a good time was had by all! Monday was family night, Tuesday was senior night, and Wednesday was Sunday School night. It was a great week of fellowship and prayer! Now on to the pumpkins. Friday Mema, Mama, and I helped out at Cindy's Fall Festival. She had a great turn out from her neighborhood and clients. I guess the whole thing got me in the fall spirit because I carved my very own pumpkin today! There has been some discussion about how much the two of us favor one another. I'll let you decide?
More to come later on....

Signs of Change
Hello All! I wanted to update everyone on the progress at the house. I know that we haven't been as good about blogging lately as we once were, but with everything that's going on we are very busy everyday. We are going to try to do better about keeping everyone more up to date with what's happening with the Ford's. We are so happy that the burnt roof is now off, and a new one is going up. Here are some photo's of what that looks like. Who would have ever thought I would be blogging about tearing down our roof? Isn't life full of suprises? It is still hard to look at some of these photo's, but I think we are excited that we are finally in the rebuilding stage instead of demolition. Here are some pictures that are up to date. We even have a bathtub! That's very exciting. Mom and I have had many discussions about when to try to sneak the sleeping bags over to the house and stay there (SHHHH)! Yes, your eyes are not playing tricks on you there is in fact a port-o-john sitting in my parking place at the 156 house. Please continue to laugh and pray with us as we venture on down this new path in our lives. We are told that we will be back in the house by Christmas. What a great Christmas present that would be. We will blog more as we continue to see changes.
